How to Unhide Datas or Files in Flashdisk Media (Removable)

Perhaps there never ever listen to or may have a case. the folders on the flash media or memory card lost.

This case also because of a virus infection. Many users think that the data in it completely disappeared, but the actual data is still there and hidden. The question is, how to display the returned folders (data) are hidden?

First we make sure that the virus in the media was also clean and safe from computer viruses, this case (on windows), we can use the facilities provided by windows, a tool we use is the Command Prompt (CMD.EXE). Enter a usb flash or memory card, note the drive in use by the media.

After the USB Flashdisk is mount, (this stage of recovery) we run the application Command Prompt (cmd.exe). we may call the Command Prompt via Start, Run, type ’cmd’ without the quotes. Or with keyboard shortcuts, the Windows logo key + R (in unison), then type ’cmd’ without the quotes.

After active command line application, make sure you’re in the usb flash drive or memory card. Example below H:’> is the usb flash drive.

Command that will be used is the attrib command.

To show hidden folders, type attrib -s -h -r /S /D then ENTER.

Done, and if the command is successful the folders are hidden and will appear in the application command prompt will return to H:’>
